‘For such a long time I have been swamped with thoughts and feelings around what’s happened.  I’ve received lots of support from various people and services yet somehow still felt like I had so much to say, but struggled with how to say it and who to say it to.  I was told about the writing group and thought I would give it a go, as I felt I had tried everything else.  Within a short time after starting the group I found that I was able to put pen to paper and verbalise the way I felt, working my way through all that had happened and processing my feelings as a consequence.  I had been searching for a long time for someone to talk to about this stuff, but now I see that I can tell my paper.  


This group has started a process for me.  It has given me new found confidence and allowed me to begin taking steps forward on my journey to a happier life.’
